The takeover culminates on ENDESA

    The takeover on ENDESA has been two years already being the news in all the newspapers, Internet radio and television and finally has arrived at its end. He is interesting to know history this so famous takeover and as they are his last data.

   First it was object in the 2005 of a hostile takeover, on the part of the company Natural Gas. The 3 of February of 2006 the government gives to the approval to this takeover, marking conditions, because he considers that he will not generate competition problems and that it would be good to arrive at one better Spanish position in the power sector.

    The 21 of February enters game electrical company German E.ON with a Against-takeover. This was not hostile, but friendly, reason why it counted on the pact of the high cupola of ENDESA. One was different from the Natural Gas takeover in which there would not be regulation files and it would be reversed in the Spanish electrical sector. But ENEL appears offering their aid to Natural Gas so that it will relaunch his takeover.

    The companies Enel and Acciona are those that close the takeover on ENDESA. They presented/displayed Wednesday 11 of October before the national Commission of the Market of Valores (CNMV) to a price of 41.3 Euros by action, which supposes to disburse 43,726 million Euros.

   Enel and Acciona have the control of 92.06% of the capital of ENDESA. Through the sent takeover they have obtained 46.05% of the capital of ENDESA, if we added this to 46.01% that they already controlled Enel and its powerful ally Drives we arrived at the number of 92.06%.
