Pedro Solbes indicates that Spain is far from an economic crisis
It thinks that the line to lower taxes is mistaken, because it would mean to harness the tension of the demand of the petroleum that is what there is to avoid.

Pedro Solbes, Minister of Economy and Property has described as enormously exaggerated saying that the Spanish economy is in crisis. Solbes uses the word crisis identifying it with recession, term defined as two trimesters in which the growth has been negative. Then, the words of Pedro Solbes sound reassuring, since it argues that Spain is lejísimos to be in recession, although also indicates that sectors with difficulties exist. Surely one will be talking about the carriers, agriculturists and fishermen who in demand of measures, mainly, before the scaling of the gasohol, already have assumed force positions as strike. In this sense, to adopt as measured a reduction of taxes in products derived from petroleum, to alleviate the expenses of the affected sectors more, Pedro Sobles, indicates that possibly it is a mistaken line, since it would suppose to increase the tension of the demand, circumstance that must be avoided, so that still does not get dearer plus petroleum.
Pedro Solbes trusts that Spain begins to recover economically in the second semester of the 2009 and in addition describes as very comfortable the position of Spain to do against the smaller economic growth of the next exercises. Also it argues that thanks to the good situation of the Social Security, the Public Administrations will be able to enjoy surplus the three next years, circumstance that happens from 2005. If there were not surplus it trusts that it arrives at a balance situation. In addition it has admitted that they will be able to arise made difficult majors in the next trimesters, but to overcome the situation one will work in the improvement of the productivity and the competitiveness. Also one will prioritize the productive cost in investigation, infrastructures and education, emphasizing the social cost, that describes as absolutely necessary.
